- Good maths skills to work out quantities/prices and areas.
- Understand building plans
- Health and safety awareness
Duties:
- Removing sewage
- Redirecting waterways by flow or pumping
- Concreting sites
- Laying kerbs and flagstones

Newly trained: £14,000
Beginner: £18,000
Experienced: £20,000
Highly Experience: £28,000
Salaries depend on location, employer and any overtime you may do. Self-employed ground workers operatives set their own pay rates.
