Floor Layer Construction Cards/Tickets
There are a number of NVQ's available for Floor Layers:
1. Full time Level 2 Diploma in Floorcovering 2. Short courses delivered by the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA).4. Short upskilling courses targeted at experience floor layers delivered by FeRFA.
5. Experienced workers can upskill through the On Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) route
The majority of floor layer start out as an apprentice and training on the job and aim to achieve an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Floorcovering.
You will also need to have a CSCS card to work on a construction site. Please see the below CSCS cards available for floor layers and links for more information.

Newly trained: £14,000 - £17,000
Experienced: £18,000 - £25,000
Highly Experience: £30,000
