What is the Green CSCS Labourers Card
The CSCS Green Card for labourers was launched in 2014 allowing operatives to work on construction sites in lower level job positions.
Acquiring the Green Labourers card show employers you have the passed the CITB Health and Safety course and shows you have awareness on site as labourers jobs tends to be more physical work.
CSCS Green Card Requirements
Step 1 – All applicants apply for the Green CSCS card need to have passed the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test.
The test is a 1 day course and you need to pass this in order to take the CSCS test.
Step 2 – Attend a CSCS card test with a course provider. The test is multiple choice and lasts 45 minutes. Find your nearest CSCS test centre.

CSCS Green Card Price
Cards cost £36 and the separate CITB Health, safety and environment test costs £21. Total cost £57.

How long does it take for the Green Card to arrive?
It takes up to 5 working days for your card to arrive once you have call CSCS and provided them your course certificate.
How long is a Green card valid for?
Valid for 5 years.
How do I renew my CSCS Card?
